🌟 Meet Our Teacher
My name is Firouzeh Afyouni, founder and caregiver of Fairy House Childcare. Working with children has always been a meaningful part of my life. I believe childhood is a time for wonder, creativity, and emotional growth, and I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel confident, valued, and free to be themselves.
I completed my Early Childhood Education studies at Douglas College and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I also have experience in play therapy and storytelling, supporting children’s emotional development through creative and engaging approaches.
With over five years of experience in daycare settings in Canada, I have worked with children of different age groups and developed a flexible, child-centred approach that respects each child’s unique personality and pace.
At Fairy House, I focus on learning through play, connection, creativity, and exploration, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging. It is truly a joy to be part of a child’s early journey, and I would be honoured to welcome your family.

Fairy House has been such a positive experience for our child. The environment is warm and welcoming, and you can truly feel how much care goes into each day. Our child comes home happy, calm, and excited to go back.
We were looking for a place that felt safe and structured, but also creative. The daily yoga and music really stood out, and we’ve seen a big difference in our child’s confidence and behaviour.
The caregiver is incredibly kind and attentive. You can tell she genuinely cares about every child. It feels more like a small, loving community than just a daycare.
What we love most is the balance between learning and play. The routine is thoughtful, and the children are engaged in meaningful activities throughout the day.
